The MP4 samples are in 1280x720, 854x480, and 640x360 resolution, 1-4 megabits/sec. These are intended for people with high speed internet access (cable modem or fast DSL) and Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, or Macintosh OS X. If you have Windows 7, we recommend the included Windows Media Player to play them. You can play them in Quicktime Player for Windows if you have it, but the 1280x720 sample probably won't play smoothly on a Windows PC in Quicktime Player. If you have Vista or XP, we recommend the free VLC player which is available from here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/. On the Mac, Quicktime player is good for playing all the samples.

The iPhone sample videos are compatible with the iPhone and the iPod Touch. They can also be played in Apple Quicktime Player. Click here to get the latest Apple Quicktime Player.

The MP4 and iPod sample videos, like the videos in the members area, are downloadable. So even if your internet connection is not fast enough to stream the video, you can save it to your hard drive first and play it at normal speed. You can also keep the videos for your own personal use forever.
